Hello, I am Rob Seay


Rob has over twenty years experience in higher education administration especially academic and student affairs administration. Most recently Rob served as the Director of Student Affairs at The Art Institute of Charleston in Charleston SC. With an undergraduate degree in Financial Management from Clemson University, a master’s degree from The University of Georgia in Student Personnel in Higher Education and doctoral work at Clemson University in Educational Leadership, Rob has a strong academic background. In addition to his education, Rob has worked at a wide variety of colleges and universities throughout the country including Clemson University, The University of Georgia, McMurry University in Texas, the University of Alaska Anchorage, Brevard College in North Carolina and The Art Institute of Charleston.

His work experience covers the entire scope of higher education including academic advising, residence life, student activities, volunteer programs, orientation, student leadership, disability services, student life, working with at risk students as well as teaching several college level courses. Rob also has worked very closely with admissions departments in the recruitment of new students and understands not only how colleges approach the admissions process but also the needs and concerns of students and parents as they search for and apply to college. Rob is passionate about helping students and families identify possible colleges and universities that may be a good fit based on a wide variety of key factors. His experiences and background have given him the insight needed in the college search and application process.
