Evan is entering his seventh year as the Sr. Asst. Director of Admissions at a selective private institution in the Southeast. As a first generation college student with an incredible collegiate experience, he feels called to provide future generations of high school graduates with the knowledge they need to navigate the college search process. In his admissions career, he has counseled students from FL, GA, TX, NC, VA, MD, PA, NY, CT and MA, as well as international and transfer students.
As an active member of SACAC, Evan has presented at several conferences and served as a faculty member at Dry Run, an annual summer conference for new admissions professionals. Furthermore, Evan has served as the scholarship director at his institution along with being the financial aid liaison to the admissions office, recognizing how important are for every student and their families navigating the college search. Furthermore, having also served as the athletics liaison at his school, Evan is familiar with NCAA eligibility standards for prospective student-athletes.
Evan was awarded the Presidential Scholarship at Queens University of Charlotte, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Corporate Communication. While at Queens, Evan was a captain of the men’s soccer team and achieved All-Conference honors his senior year. In his personal time, Evan enjoys spending time with his wife and staying active through exercise and DIY home projects as his wife dictates. Having worked with thousands of prospective students during his career, Evan brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and energy to those needing help finding the school that is the right fit.
