Anna Lauren has called Myrtle Beach her home for the past 15 years. She graduated from Myrtle Beach High school and has been very involved in the community since moving here in 1999. She received her degree from Clemson University in Spanish and International Trade, where she obtained more than 33 hours of credit in Spanish including areas such as: conversation, writing, reading, grammar skills and business jargon. She lived abroad in Ecuador for 1 month and Spain for 6 months to improve her knowledge of Spanish language and culture. Since graduation she has taught high school Spanish 1 & 2 in Columbia, SC and Myrtle Beach, SC at the Academy for Arts, Science and Technology and Carolina Forest High School. She is currently in the final stages of completing her high school teaching certification.
