These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of collegeplanningcenters.com and the services provided by College Planning Center (“College Planning Center,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.

Our Services

College Planning Center provides college-admissions consulting, standardized test preparation, and college financial-planning services to students and families. Details, availability, and pricing of specific services are described on our website and are subject to change.

Scheduling, Payments, and Refunds

Consultations and services may be booked through our website or by contacting us directly. Payment terms are presented at the time of purchase. Any refund or cancellation terms for a specific service will be described at the point of sale or in your service agreement.

SMS / Text Messaging Program Terms

Program description & message types. By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from College Planning Center, a DBA of College-Bound Consulting, Inc. Message types include appointment reminders, scheduling and booking confirmations, consultation follow-ups, service and account updates, and occasional informational messages about our college-planning, test-prep, and financial-planning services. Providing your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.

Message & data rates. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier’s plan.

How to opt out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP (reply Text STOP to any message). After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation message and then stop sending you text messages. For help, text HELP or email info@collegeplanningcenters.com.

Carrier liability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Age requirement. Our SMS program is available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By opting in, you confirm that you are at least 18.

No sharing. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your information.

No Affiliate or Lead-Purchasing Practices

College Planning Center works directly with the families we serve. We do not buy or sell leads, and we do not operate an affiliate lead-generation program.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our website and services lawfully and not to interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use them to transmit harmful or unlawful content.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and materials — is owned by or licensed to College Planning Center and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute it without our permission.

Disclaimers

Our services provide guidance and support for the college-planning process. We do not guarantee admission to any particular institution, any specific test score, or any specific financial-aid outcome. Our website and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, College Planning Center is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

As a parent of two teenagers entering adulthood that are very different, having a "coach" in our corner was a game changer. They are hearing a voice that's not their parent, guides them with no judgement and does so with experience and vast options of the future. Our first experience was easier because our daughter was organized and had an idea of what she wanted to do after high school. We're so grateful for the time and thoughtfulness of Chris and all of the coaches we've had.

Great experience! We came late to the program but it was excellent. Our son already had great ACT and SAT scores but really needed vocational counseling to narrow down choice and identify best direction. Christopher Parsons guided him through very thorough vocational testing and Tom was able to utilize online college interface College Planning Center offers to then identify best fit schools. Christopher was very flexible meeting over Skype around a busy senior fall schedule and guided him through advising process with tons of support for the essays required for honor colleges, etc. We appreciated the opportunity to be the parent cheerleader instead of the nag. Christopher kept on top of deadlines and worked directly with our student. I would advise to start earlier than we did and highly recommend the vocational testing/advising which felt like a more old fashioned guidance counseling. Tom received excellent offers from the 4 colleges selected and he chose the college Christopher had initially recommended which wasn't on our radar but upon visiting was EXACTLY what Tom was looking for in a school.
